Ok, we left off with the tow truck driver backing over the front of my car right?
So fast foward to now, dude has yet to fix it! Nada, zip! I've called him, I've done the patience thing, now it's on! I'm gettin' into the system called insurance! I'll keep ya posted. Which brings me to the blog title..... Last week Pam (my wife) & I were coming home on I-95 from Delrey visiting some friends. As usual, there was contruction going on. Cars were slowing down, so we slowed down. The car behind them slowed down, the car behind them slowed down, well the truck behind them did not! You guessed it, another accident. A four car accident, and the worst part is I could hear it coming! Bang! Bang! "Don't let em' hit us, don't let em hit us", Bang! Bang! We got hit.....twice!!!! Yep! Say it with me, WOW! ANOTHER ACCIDENT THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT! This time my wife was in the car (see pic), if that wasn't scary enough, we are expecting so, on a scale of 1-10, this was a 20! She called 911, then called her doctor, I got out to see how bad the damage was. Now, I know what your thinking "Dude how much of your car was left to hit?" Well this time it was not my car. It was Pam's car. I just happened to be driving. The good news was that her car only has some bumper damage and no one was hurt to badly. This time tho it did get a lil whiplash, and it kinda sucks, but insurance is taking care of it. By the way, the baby is fine! Praise God! After FHP (Florida Highway Patrol) showed up they took our statements and sorted the whole thing out. Driver 1 was cited with wreckless driving, Driver 2 was cited for driving without a licence. And by the way driver 2's caravan was jacked up! Back window blown out, rear tire blown out! It was messed up man! Both driver 1 & 2's vehicles were towed off as undrivable. We and driver 3 were not cited. Why, it wasn't our fault!!!!!!
So... as of now we are trying to fix both our cars. I learned today in Church from Pastor Bob Barnes that faith is real when I am forced to use it during difficult circumstances, and if I get over my fear of the circumstances, God will get me thru it! Well, the last few weeks have defintely qualified as difficult circumstances! I wanna yell, I wanna feel sorry about my situation and I wanna hit something or someone. But, as a parent tells a little kid who does something they told him or her not to do ("You know better than that"). I hear God say to me when I have those feelings "You know better than that! You are to mature to be throwing a spiritual tantrum!
Seek me, I'm all you need". So, that is what I'm doing! Trusting Him who knows all and has it all on lock! I'm mean who else in heaven do I have? To misquote the group Casting Crowns, in the storm, I"ll be the one gettin' my praise on! And it don't stop!
