Enter Micah Gideon Newsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well on Sunday September 18th, 2006 after a surprise shower for Pam by our Bible study group, we came home and just took is easy ya know like the Commodores( My old school heads will get that). They we were getting into bed for the night guess what hit the floor? Pam's water! This was at after midnight. So off we went to the hospital and since we were pre registered, we walk right into the OB. The nurse recognized us from the Friday night prior because Pam's doctor sent us in because of some kick count chart. Everything turned out fine with that by the way. Anyways, so she recognized us and said what are yall doing back, we told her Pam's water broke. She said wow, are you sure? As we pointed to the forming pool of water on the floor..... Coming from Pam it became quite evident!!! So they admitted her then and there. We were told that they would induce labor the next day (Monday). At 9am on Monday morning they induced labor with something called Pitocin. Nurse Karen came in every so often and up the dosage. Pam started to feel light contractions, then heavier ones, then "Hey can somebody get me a Epidural?"!!! At around 4pm They came in and hit her off with the Epidural. Yo it smoothed her out like an R&B joint! She was good till around 8pm the the pressure as she describes it came. I was right there for the whole joint, I never left! I was her birth coach. So then we started doing the breathing thing. At 8:30 we were well into the process. She was pushing I was helping her breathe and watching as our son was making his entrance. I gotta say, It is such a divine process to see a new life enter the world! God is truly amazing how He thought of everything, even despite the curse of Eve! So.... I saw the crown of his head then I saw his face come thru!!!! Then he was here! 8:4pm September 18th, 2006 our son Micah Gideon Newsome was entrusted to us by his Heavenly Father! He was and is perfect, then I got to cut the cord! Now if your wondering who he looks like....... He looks like both of us! What an amazing experience. Not to be up on a soap box or anything but I cannot imagine going through this process without being married. No drama, no what ifs, nada! Just the way God intends for it to be! Two live becoming one, and begetting (KJV word). It means to father or sire! This will change my life forever and as I experience fatherhood, I will try to share here what my son teaches me, and what the Lord teaches me through him!!!!!!!! I love you Spammy, I Love You Micah (Mic)!!!!
