Back 2 School

If you have been following me on Twitter then you know that me and the fam have had an awesome Summer. Hittin the beach, bowling, skating, visiting museums, light houses, learning alot about some of the USA great states and cities, Bush Gardens. It was all capped off with Willow Creek Association Global Conference, and I cannot forget the 2012 Summer Olympic Games!. What a great summer. I really hate to see it end. While I still have a lil Summer left i tend to enjoy it.
going into the new school year it is going to be a exciting year. Pam and I are still on the the grind at UYI. We love what we do and are really blessed to be serving here. The pic you see above was taken at the top of the Jupiter lighthouse after climbing 105 stairs! Enjoy what is left of your Summer.

Summer Maddness Pt. 2

I finally had a chance to listen to "Summertime" by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. It sounded better than ever. It was on a mixtape (CD) that was playing in the car so it hit me by surprise right after I posted the first blog! This summer has continued to be a good one.

Last week me and wifey got treated to a 3 day stay at The Breakers.
Being a Soflo native I was always very aware of The Breakers but was never fortunate enough to stay there, that is until now. Thanks to our job, Pam and I spent 3 relaxing days doing whatever we wanted to do there. No job, no schedule, no kids, no worries! Plus, we had an ocean view room. We are very much looking to go back sometime soon. It was totally not what I expected. I must admit, I had some prejudices going into it. Those preconceived notions were quickly erased by superb customer service and five star hospitality. The amenities at this place were incredible. I would definitely recommend it as a short get-a-way staycation (I call it breakcation) for any Bomb Beach resident, and as a vacation spot for anyone around the world who wants to know why I call this area of the country Bomb Beach. It's just simply paradise.

Summer Maddness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh, Summer time. I love it! I usually easy into it by pulling out the old DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince classic Summer Time, which I listen to every summer(although I haven't yet. I gotta get on that).BTW, the remix is hot too! Then I stock up on Country Time lemonade (summer's official drink). "Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is" (r.i.p. Guru)! Yes here in Bomb Beach, dress cool cause the heat is crazy!!!.
For the last 4 Summers I have been here at UYI and we do this thing called Summer Jam. I feel like a teacher. I get to do a school year with kids then take field trips in the Summer. It's like becoming a kid again. This summer so far I have been roller skating, been to the science museum, the Lake Worth Playhouse, and the beach every Tues! I'm also taking a dance class(big up Ms. Kelly)! Having a blast here fam.
Also getting to spend good times with my fam, Watching my boys (Micah & Miles) grow and mature and spending time with wifey. Yes summer is indeed good!
I have managed to do a lil writing and work a lil on some music too. I'll get back on that grind soon enough but for now I'm loving life and livin it!!!!! God is great and life well..... it's good!
