It’s hard to believe that one yearago last week Micah Gideon was born. September 18th, 2006 at 8:41 PM our lives changed for the better.
Over the last year we have watched him grow, laugh, learn to crawl, walk, play, cut teeth, and to some extent try out his new found independence. He has been sick a lot with colds and ear infections this last year too but over all it has been amazing to be here and watch him literally grow up before my eyes. I know there will be a lot of other stuff to come but the year just zoomed by. We must have changed hundreds of diapers by now! Anyways, we had a small celebration with Micah and a few family members on the 18th. He got to finally experience one of his Pops favorite things in life…… Cake!
As you can imagine he loves it just as much as I do!!!!!
This indeed is the good part of fatherhood. No more 3 AM feeding! Those days were rough. See earlier blogs for more details! Now as I dad I’m looking forward to the first trip to the barber, ball games, studio sessions etc.
Even now when we hang out without Mommy,
it seems easy, we have our own bond.
